This beautiful meadow seed paper is made from 70% cotton and 30% recycled paper. It seed contains a mix of British meadow wildflowers and grasses and has been specially made for us to our specifications, so you won’t find it elsewhere! It was important to us that the seeds are British species, grown in the UK, so we also supplied the seeds to the paper maker. The paper is also embedded with bits of grass here and there. The paper is not really suitable for printing as some of the seeds are quite big and cause an issue when going through the printer. However, you can cut shapes and tags from the paper or print on different paper and lightly attach it to this. We include above an example photo of some wedding invites we created with this paper, using the paper as the cover of the invite.
This paper comes as a pack of 10 x A5 sheets and a planting information sheet.
How to Plant Meadow Seed Paper with Grass
Meadow seed paper is easy to plant, in no time! After running briefly under the tap, place the paper (or tear into pieces and follow the same instructions) on top of a tray of compost and water well. Place the tray somewhere warm and light to aid germination and do not let the paper dry out! Once the seedlings are a decent size, you can either plant them out as they are, in a sunny spot, or divide into smaller clumps, grow on in pots and then plant out when well-established. A planting instruction card will be included in the packaging.
